ABOUT MRS. SAMMONS

   I was born and raised in Monroe, Michigan. I graduated from Bowling Green State University. Go Falcons!  I moved here

to Houston 26 years ago to start my teaching career in

Spring Branch.  I have taught fourth grade since I began teaching.  I love our Texas history and hope your children leave

my classroom enjoying our rich state history as much as I do.

    I am married to Martin Sammons and I have two step daughters.  We stay busy attending Friendswood High School

football games where our daughter is in the color guard. 

   I am a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan and on most fall Saturdays we are watching games and cheering on the Bucks.

Favorite date night restaurants:  Olive Garden, Cheesecake Factory, Taste of Texas, Escalante’s, Guadalajara, Pei Wei
