ABOUT MRS. RIXIE

My name is Renee Rixie, and I have been in education for over 30 years. I graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a specialization in Early Childhood.  Several years on in my career, I went back to school for my masters in Educational Administration. I have had wide range of experiences in my career, ranging from teacher, Curriculum Specialist and even Assistant Principal. My greatest honor, however,  has been the privilege to teach many of my colleagues’ children and the children of Rummel Creek El. for the past eleven years. When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I look forward each year to getting to know my new students and their families.
