READING

This year in READING:

- We will be following The Teachers College Reading and Writing Project curriculum. This year's goal is to get books in your child's hands as often as possible.

- Days will consist of mini-lessons and then skill practice in our independent reading books.

- Students will be graded a variety of different ways including: read-aloud behavior and participation, independent reading behavior and reflection, reading comprehension, skills practice, and vocabulary practice.
